ABOUT ME
Passionate About Inspiring Others
Julia finds true joy in seeing people happy, thriving, motivated to move forward and most importantly, confident in who they are. Too often children and adults are frustrated, sad, angry, or misperceived as someone they are not. These feelings or misperceptions may be due to a lack of understanding in how our brains work and a need to set up systems and supports for success. Julia firmly believes that all people can grow and learn. That through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, collaboration, and treatment, the pieces of a puzzle can come together. Putting the puzzle pieces together creates a beautiful picture that once felt like a scattered, messy, overwhelming and sometimes scary situation. This can be hard work, but partnering together to find strategies for success is the most rewarding profession in the world.

Julia has a unique set of experiences starting as an elementary school teacher before studying psychology. Julia has been a school psychologist and a licensed educational psychologist for over 15 years. Julia has been a program manager, director of special education and a principal. Most importantly, Julia is a mother to two children. She is grounded in a parent's mindset while deeply understanding the perspective and limitations of a school district. Julia often partners with her Canine Companion Therapy Dog in her work with children and adults.
Julia is a seeker of knowledge and a lover of people. When she is not working, she spends time her with husband, children, family, and friends. She loves being sporty or curling up with a great book in the beauty that our location has to offer.
